Admissions into Engineering & Pharmacy Colleges (EAMCET 2011)

For the Convenience of the Candidates from the academic year 2009-10, government have decided to adopt a total web based counseling procedure where candidate can exercise options. that is can select a college and course intend to study through internet centre or internet facility available at their residence and where such facility is not available candidate can approach any one of the help line centres nearer to them.

1.  Issue of EAMCET 2011 Counseling Notification:

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education issued EAMCET 2011 (MPC Stream/ Engineering) Counselling Notification on 22.07.2011 indicating the dates and ranks of the candidates to be attended for Registration, Verification of Certificates and Schedule for exercising options and also notify the list of Help-line Centres. Candidates who fail to report for Certificates verification will not be considered for allotment of seats in any of the colleges.

2.  EAMCET 2011 Counselling Certificate Verification:

Candidates should produce the following certificates

  -  Hall ticket of EAMCET

  -  Rank Card of EAMCET

  -  SSC/ Intermediate or Equivalent marks memo

  -  Study/Bonafide Certificate from III to X Class and Intermediate (10+2)

  -  Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)

  – Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 01.01.2011 also be submitted (in case the candidate   -   desires to claim fee exemption).

  -  PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)

  -  Transfer Certificate.

  -  Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres after Verification.

3.  Exercising Options – EAMCET 2011 Web Counselling:

After Certificate Verification in Help-line Centres, a Blank Option Form, List of colleges, courses and their Codes will be given to all the Candidates. Based on the codes, Candidates have to write College and Course code for which they intend to join and it is advised to prepare such lists in consultation with their parents and friends. From out of that list Candidate has to prioritize and write Priority Number in the Blank Option Form which is essential to enter the options on the web. Candidates can exercise any number of options and can take print out if they desire. Help-Line Centres shall furnish the detailed procedure of Exercising Options.

4.  Modification of Options and Freezing:

Candidate can change his/her options any number of times during the allotted time. After allotted time for option entry, if the Candidate is not satisfied with the Options exercised, he/she can modify the options on the dates notified by the authority and this is final opportunity for exercising options.

5.  Final Allotments of Seats:

Final Allotments will be placed on the Web and the Candidates have to down load the allotment order.

6.  Payment of Seats & Reporting at College:

Candidates with downloaded allotment order have to remit the fee in one of the designated banks and obtain a receipt. Candidate with allotment order and fee receipts have to report at the respective colleges where the seat is allotted within the dates mentioned. If Candidate fails to pay the fee and report on the dates stipulated the allotment stands cancelled and candidate has no claim further on the allotment.

• Qualification: Matriculation or Equivalent.

Period of Training: 48 Working Days for Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants and 10 days for Postmen during which stipend will be paid at the prescribed rates.

1. Qualification:
Graduate B.A., B.Com. B.Sc., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Sc(Agri) or graduation in any other
discipline from a recognized University with 55% for General and 50% for SC, ST and
SEBC candidates.
The knowledge of Computers and English language is required, which shall be assessed by
the Company through pre-employment test.
2. Age limit :( As on 22/06/2011): 25 years for General category and 30 years for SC, ST and
SEBC category candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit to other categories shall be given
as under:

General:
1. The management reserves the right to short-list the candidates for selection. Candidates in 1:10
ratio will be called for the written test from sort listed candidates. The question paper for
written test will comprise 60% objective type questions and 40% descriptive type questions.
Area of assessment in Mathematical ability (Higher  Secondary General stream level: 25%
weightage), English (General drafting and communicative ability:25% weight age), Computer

2. The selected Vidyut Sahayak (Jr. Assistant) shall be appointed for duration of three years and
shall be considered for appointment to the post of Jr. Asstt. in the pay scale of Rs.9700-21710
subject to completion of the period of three years  as Vidyut Sahayak to the satisfaction of
DGVCL.
3. SEBC candidates shall have to submit latest Creamy  layer certificate (i.e 01.04.2011 to
31.03.2012).
4. Physically handicapped candidates shall have to submit certificate of Civil Surgeon. Indicating
existing percentage of disability.
5. Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection.
6. Caste (Roster category) certificate of Gujarat State only will be considered.
7. Those candidates who were working as Vidyut Sahayak(Jr. Assistant) with DGVCL and
resigned / not absorbed as regular Jr. Assistant shall not be consider for this appointment.
8. Incomplete applications, applications without enclosures, or applications received after the due
date will be rejected.
